Welcome to Asmaraloka. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Asmaraloka mobile application, website, and related services collectively referred to as the "App" or "Services".

Asmaraloka is developed and operated by Kynikyo ("Kynikyo", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Asmaraloka, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. About Asmaraloka

Asmaraloka is a wedding-planning application designed to help users prepare for their wedding through a simple, customizable, checklist-based experience.

Depending on the version of the App and the features available to you, Asmaraloka may allow you to:

organize wedding preparation tasks;
use and customize wedding checklists;
plan activities according to different preparation phases;
add, remove, edit, prioritize, and complete checklist items;
record notes and preparation details;
record vendor or service-provider information;
track estimated and actual wedding costs;
monitor preparation progress;
view wedding countdowns and timelines; and
customize planning details according to your own wedding needs.

Asmaraloka is designed around the principle of simplicity. Its purpose is to help users organize information and track their own wedding preparation.

Asmaraloka is a planning tool. It is not a professional wedding planner, financial adviser, legal adviser, religious authority, vendor marketplace, or payment service unless a particular service is expressly identified as such.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By using Asmaraloka, you confirm that:

you are legally capable of agreeing to these Terms;
the information you provide through the App is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
you will use the App only for lawful purposes; and
you agree to comply with these Terms and applicable laws.

If you use Asmaraloka on behalf of another person, couple, organization, or other entity, you confirm that you have permission to do so.

Where a user is not legally capable of entering into a binding agreement independently, the App should only be used with the permission or supervision required under applicable law.

3. Wedding Checklists and Planning Information

Asmaraloka may provide default wedding checklists, categories, preparation suggestions, timelines, and other planning information. These materials are provided as general organizational guidance only.

Wedding requirements differ depending on many factors, including:

culture, religion, family tradition, and personal preference;
location, ceremony type, venue, and budget;
legal requirements; and
individual circumstances.

Asmaraloka does not guarantee that any default checklist is complete, mandatory, suitable, or applicable to every wedding. A checklist item appearing in the App does not mean that the item is legally, culturally, religiously, or practically required for your wedding. Similarly, the absence of an item from the App does not mean that the item is unnecessary.

You are responsible for reviewing, adding, removing, and customizing checklist items according to your own circumstances. Where legal, religious, cultural, financial, or professional guidance is required, you should consult the relevant qualified authority or professional.

4. Cultural and Religious Wedding Content

Asmaraloka may provide wedding-planning content designed for different communities, cultures, religions, traditions, or ceremony types. Such content is intended to help users begin organizing their preparation. It is not intended to define, represent, or prescribe the beliefs, rules, customs, or requirements of every individual or community.

Practices may differ between:

families, regions, and communities;
denominations, religious authorities, and cultural groups; and
individual couples.

Users are encouraged to customize their planning based on their own traditions and to consult appropriate family members, community representatives, religious authorities, or other relevant sources when necessary. Kynikyo welcomes constructive feedback where planning content may be incomplete, unclear, inaccurate, or unsuitable.

5. Your Wedding Plan and Customization

Asmaraloka is designed to allow extensive customization. You may be able to create or modify information such as checklist items, categories, priorities, preparation phases, task descriptions, completion statuses, wedding dates, deadlines, notes, vendor details, estimated costs, actual costs, and other planning information.

You are responsible for the accuracy and suitability of the information you enter into the App. Kynikyo does not independently verify user-entered information and is not responsible for decisions made based on incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information entered by you or another person with access to your device or account.

6. Budget Tracking

Asmaraloka may provide tools for recording and organizing wedding-related budgets and expenses. Budget features are intended for personal planning and informational purposes only.

Asmaraloka does not:

provide financial advice;
guarantee the accuracy of your budget;
verify vendor quotations;
predict final wedding costs;
process payments unless expressly stated;
guarantee that estimates will match actual costs; or
take responsibility for overspending or financial decisions.

Amounts shown in the App may depend on information entered by you. You remain responsible for checking prices, verifying quotations, reviewing contracts, monitoring payments, confirming deposits, maintaining financial records, and making your own financial decisions.

Kynikyo is not responsible for budget overruns, unexpected expenses, price changes, incorrect calculations caused by inaccurate user input, or disputes between users and vendors.

7. Vendors and Third-Party Information

Asmaraloka may allow you to record information about wedding vendors, suppliers, venues, service providers, family members, or other third parties.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, vendor information in the App does not mean that Kynikyo:

recommends, endorses, guarantees, or verifies the vendor;
has a partnership with the vendor;
acts as the vendor's agent; or
is involved in any agreement between you and the vendor.

Any arrangement, quotation, booking, contract, payment, cancellation, refund, dispute, or communication between you and a third party is between you and that third party. Kynikyo is not responsible for vendor performance, availability, service quality, cancellations, delays, pricing changes, lost deposits, contractual disputes, or any act or omission of a third party.

You should independently evaluate and verify third parties before making commitments or payments.

8. Information About Other People

Wedding planning may involve information about other people, including partners, family members, guests, vendors, and service providers. You are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate reason or permission to enter, upload, share, or store information relating to another person.

You must not use Asmaraloka to collect, store, disclose, or misuse another person's information unlawfully. Avoid entering unnecessary sensitive or confidential information into free-text fields or notes.

9. User Content

"User Content" means information that you create, enter, upload, save, or otherwise provide through Asmaraloka. This may include checklist items, task details, notes, budgets, costs, vendor information, dates, preferences, and other planning information.

You retain ownership of your User Content. Kynikyo does not claim ownership of your personal wedding plans merely because you use Asmaraloka.

To the extent that User Content is transmitted to or stored by Kynikyo or its service providers, you grant Kynikyo the limited permission necessary to host, process, store, synchronize, display, back up, and otherwise handle that content solely for the purposes of operating the App, providing requested features, maintaining the Services, protecting users and the Services, complying with applicable law, and improving the App where permitted by our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not violate any law or the rights of another person.

10. Accounts and Device Security

If Asmaraloka offers user accounts, cloud synchronization, shared planning, or similar features, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account, protecting your login information, keeping your device secure, preventing unauthorized access, and notifying Kynikyo of suspected unauthorized use where appropriate.

You should not share passwords, verification codes, or account credentials with unauthorized persons. You are responsible for activity performed through your account or device to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Data Storage and Backup

Depending on the features and version of Asmaraloka, information may be stored on your device, in cloud-based systems, through third-party service providers, or through a combination of these methods.

You should maintain your own important records where necessary. Unless a specific backup or recovery feature is expressly guaranteed, you should not rely on Asmaraloka as the only permanent record of important information.

Kynikyo will take reasonable steps to operate and maintain the App but cannot guarantee that data will never be lost, corrupted, delayed, unavailable, or affected by technical problems. Where available, users should use backup, synchronization, or export features appropriately.

12. Wedding Dates, Timelines, Countdowns, and Reminders

Asmaraloka may display wedding countdowns, deadlines, preparation phases, scheduled tasks, timeline information, and reminders. These features are planning aids only.

Their accuracy may depend on the wedding date entered by you, your device date and time, your time zone, device settings, internet connectivity, notification permissions, and operating-system restrictions.

You remain responsible for keeping track of important appointments, legal deadlines, vendor deadlines, payments, bookings, ceremonies, and wedding-related obligations. Kynikyo is not responsible for a missed deadline, appointment, payment, booking, ceremony, or other event solely because a reminder, countdown, notification, or timeline was inaccurate, delayed, disabled, or not delivered.

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Asmaraloka to:

violate any applicable law;
harm, threaten, harass, or impersonate another person;
upload malicious code;
interfere with the operation or security of the App;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts;
misuse another person's personal information;
copy or distribute the App unlawfully;
bypass technical restrictions or security measures;
use automated systems to scrape or overload the Services;
exploit the App for fraudulent or deceptive purposes; or
infringe intellectual-property or other legal rights.

Kynikyo may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the App, users, Kynikyo, or third parties.

14. Intellectual Property

Asmaraloka, Kynikyo, and their related intellectual property are owned by or licensed to Kynikyo. This includes, where applicable, application software, source code and object code, designs, layouts, visual elements, logos, trademarks, brand names, icons, original illustrations, default checklist content, written content, and other original materials.

Subject to these Terms, Kynikyo grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Asmaraloka for its intended purpose.

You may not, except where permitted by applicable law, copy the App, sell or sublicense the App, distribute unauthorized copies, remove ownership notices, create unauthorized derivative works, reverse engineer the App, interfere with security features, or use Kynikyo's intellectual property without permission. Your User Content remains yours as described in these Terms.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

Asmaraloka may rely on or link to third-party services. These may include, depending on the features available, mobile app stores, hosting providers, cloud services, analytics services, authentication services, external websites, and other technology providers.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Kynikyo does not control every third-party service and is not responsible for the independent content, availability, policies, security, or actions of third parties. Your use of third-party services may be subject to additional terms.

16. App Store Terms

Where you download Asmaraloka through a third-party application store or distribution platform, your use of that platform remains subject to the platform provider's applicable terms.

These Terms are between you and Kynikyo. The app-store provider is not responsible for the operation, content, support, or maintenance of Asmaraloka except to the extent separately required by its own terms or applicable law.

17. Privacy and Personal Data

Your privacy is important to Kynikyo. The collection, use, storage, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal data in connection with Asmaraloka are described in our separate Privacy Policy or Personal Data Protection Notice.

By using Asmaraloka, you should review both these Terms and Conditions and the Asmaraloka Privacy Policy.

Where required by applicable law, Kynikyo will handle personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.

18. Availability and Changes to the App

Kynikyo may update Asmaraloka from time to time. Updates may add new features, improve existing features, change the interface, correct errors, improve security, remove outdated functions, or modify how parts of the App operate.

We may also need to temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, updates, infrastructure changes, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available or unchanged. Where appropriate, we will try to avoid unnecessary disruption.

19. Beta, Preview, and Experimental Features

Some Asmaraloka features may be marked as beta, preview, early access, experimental, or under development. Such features may be less stable, incomplete, changed, or removed.

You should not rely on experimental features as the sole method of preserving important wedding information. Feedback about these features is welcome and may be used to improve Asmaraloka.

20. Feedback and Suggestions

You may choose to provide Kynikyo with feedback, feature ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or other comments. You agree that Kynikyo may use voluntary feedback to evaluate and improve its products without an obligation to compensate you.

This does not transfer ownership of your private wedding-planning data to Kynikyo.

21. No Professional Advice

Asmaraloka provides planning and organizational tools. Nothing in the App should be treated as legal advice, financial advice, religious advice, professional wedding-planning advice, contractual advice, tax advice, or a substitute for qualified professional services.

You are responsible for obtaining professional assistance where appropriate.

22. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Asmaraloka is provided on an "as available" basis. Kynikyo aims to provide a useful, reliable, and simple planning experience but does not guarantee that the App will always be uninterrupted, every feature will be error-free, all checklist content will be complete, every suggestion will suit every wedding, all information will always be current, all data will always be recoverable, or the App will meet every individual user's requirements.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, protections, or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

23. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Kynikyo is not responsible for loss or damage arising solely from reliance on an incomplete checklist, failure to customize a wedding plan, inaccurate information entered by a user, missed deadlines or reminders, budget overruns, vendor disputes, vendor cancellations, decisions made by users or third parties, loss of locally stored data, device failure, internet interruption, third-party service failure, or use of the App contrary to its intended purpose.

Kynikyo will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses to the extent such exclusion is permitted by applicable law. However, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict responsibility where doing so would be unlawful. Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer right or other legal protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

24. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Asmaraloka at any time. You may also uninstall the App. Where account-deletion functionality is provided, you may use that functionality subject to applicable data-retention requirements described in the Privacy Policy.

Kynikyo may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of a serious or repeated violation of these Terms, unlawful use, security risks, fraud, harm to other users or third parties, technical or operational necessity, or discontinuation of the Services. Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice before taking action.

25. Discontinuation of Asmaraloka

Kynikyo hopes to continue developing and improving Asmaraloka. However, we may decide to discontinue all or part of the App. Where reasonably practical, we will attempt to provide appropriate notice before permanently discontinuing a major service.

Users should maintain independent records of information that is particularly important to them.

26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features, changes to the App, legal or regulatory requirements, security improvements, or changes in how the Services operate. When these Terms are updated, we will revise the "Last Updated" date.

Where a change is material, we may provide additional notice through the App, website, email, or another appropriate method. Continued use of Asmaraloka after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree with a material update, you should stop using the App.

27. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, without prejudice to any mandatory rights or protections available to you under applicable law.

Before beginning formal proceedings, you and Kynikyo are encouraged to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith communication. Subject to applicable consumer protections and any mandatory legal requirements, disputes relating to these Terms or Asmaraloka will be handled by the courts or other competent authorities of Malaysia.

28. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. Where possible, the affected provision should be interpreted in a way that most closely reflects its original purpose while remaining lawful.

29. No Waiver

If Kynikyo does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, this does not mean that Kynikyo permanently gives up the right to enforce it later.

30. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Asmaraloka Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly provided for a specific feature, form the agreement governing your use of Asmaraloka.
